Denise "Lady D" Patricia Williams
Denise was born on the beautiful island of St. Kitts on June 16, 1957 to the late Beryldine Susan Richards, and the late Henry Onesimus Williams. Denise moved to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands in 1972, where she attended Adelta Cancryn Junior High School (former known as Wayne Aspinal Junior High). Denise graduated from Charlotte Amalie High School. Shortly after graduating she moved to Puerto Rico, New York, and then to Miami, Florida which she made her home.
On August 29, 1981, Denise gave birth to her joy, Beverly Renee. Denise worked tirelessly to provide the love, comfort, support, and direction as a single parent to Beverly. Denise was always dedicated, ambitious, and hardworking which allowed her to hold several jobs (Walgreens, Home Depot, SAMS, Bank Atlantic, BB&T) to earn a living. In 1992, while working at Walgreens as an Executive Manager she met a stockman by the name of Kevin. They became friends and an infectious relationship began. It was obvious that a romance would ensue.
On June 18, 1994, Denise married the love of her life Dr. Kevin N. Williams. The love of this relationship embraced three wonderful sons: Jovonte’, Joshua, and Jaron. Denise was the backbone of this God ordained family. In 2001, Denise along with her husband established True Praise Family Worship Center. Ministry was Lady Denise's heart. She could always be found encouraging, support, and interceding for the people of God. Lady D labored faithfully until her rest. Denise was a prayer warrior extraordinary. She believed in giving God all the praise and worship despite the circumstances. No excuses worked when it came to the kingdom of God. All of the saints can attest to her most powerful saying, “The Blood of Jesus!”
On Monday evening April 13, 2015, after going into warfare prayer for her family, Denise heard the gentle call of her Savior Jesus telling her it was time to come home. She simply without question submitted and said YES LORD…
